Welcome to the Online! ("Onrain ni yōkoso!", オンラインにようこそ！), or Welcome Online! depending on the translation source, is the eleventh chapter of the Welcome to the N.H.K manga.
Summary []
Tatsuhiro takes Yuu's suggestion to make money online via RMT (real money trading). He becomes helplessly addicted and withdrawn, standing Misaki up at counselling for a week straight. Tatsuhiro meets a neko girl within the game named Mia whom he rescued from a demon. They team up and he starts to fall in love with her. Misaki returns to th room, dressed as a cat, in an effort to lure his attention to her and away from Mia. Tatsuhiro finds this to be a grotesque method to make a joke out of his and Mia's relationship.
Back in the game, Mia recruits a group of players to help them fight a high-level dragon. Misaki makes a second attempt to grab Tatsuhiro's attention, by bringing some groceries so he can make him a meal. She even purposefully trips and exposes her panties for Tatsuhiro to see. Her attempts yielded zero results. The only successful attempt was when Mia asked to meet him in real life. He took notice to what he had become. Misaki even left him a cooked meal and a note in the kitchen before she left.
It is at this point that it is revealed that Kaoru Yamazaki is playing the character of Mia within the game.
